First, I want to apologize for my absence these past weeks! Our home is undergoing a lot of changes lately, in hopes to finish everything before winter. I feel like I should re-introduce myself as I see so many new "faces"! In a nutshell, my name is Kat, I'm 26 and live with my fiance and our eight beloved dogs. For quite a while I fostered dogs as well, but put a temporary hold on that project when after adopting Eden, who surprised us with five beautiful puppies which are keeping us very busy!! We aren't sure what dad is as she'd came from a puppy mill where she lived outside with other dogs, and since the pups look like Momma they didn't give us much indication either but they appear to be Chihuahuas. We just feel blessed that it was uncomplicated; and will be her LAST litter as she should have NEVER been bred. Puppies will only be adopted out on a non-negotiable Neuter contract. Momma is doing excellent and everyone's been growing at a healthy rate! There are plenty more pictures still on the camera to be uploaded which I promise to make time for next week, so I hope these ultra-precious newborn pictures will hold ya over for now. =D

Thanks you two! LS, there's nothing wrong with lil Eve's back paw, she just still had some blood on it from some of the pup's umbilical cords bleeding from momma washing them up. Robbie and I are doing really well; looking forward to our first holidays here at the new home, which is why we're trying to get so much done. Here's a shot looking in through the front of my house onto the porch.. one of my favorite projects byfar!

Yup, just little Eve!! It's probably better that way as I'm such a sucker for girls. =D Seemed perfect to name her that considering her momma is Eden hehe. The boys' names all came naturally. I am really proud of Eden, she has such a gracefulness about her and she is a wonderful mother to her babies. I honestly believe we were meant to have her be part of our family as she couldn't fit in more perfectly.

Dropping in again to add, that Patches, Spot and Spike are still available for adoption. They will not be ready until January; and will require an Adoption Contract that will have a Neuter requirement. If anyone is genuinely interested, please let me know; as I would love to watch them grow up on CP. I have helped in transport before and know that with enough passionate people, one can get a dog almost anywhere. Though I've adopted out many dogs, it is always harder to place the ones you've helped raise, and these guys already mean the world to me. My goal is to find them a forever home where they will mean the same to their family, and I trust many of you here on CP more than I would a stranger. =)
