everyone. I know it has been a while since I posted and pics or updates. Sorry about that , but after some recent things that happened on FACEBOOK with a few members from this forum I have been keeping my distance. What happened was not directed at me , but it was directed at my best friend and I found the things that were said to be very hurtful (especially from some of the people I called friends from here).... The worst being that some people implied that my dogs and some of their furry family members were "sub-standard". So I will say this about my dogs: They may not be the "perfect" chihuahua by the "standard", but they are mine and I love them with all my heart and I am proud to show them off. If someone here does not like them then feel free to skip my posts. Anyway, I really love this forum and I have been a member here for a long time, thus I will not let a few people ruin my enjoyment of posting, reading and browsing pics here. I also want to add that I love and enjoy so many of the wonderful members here (both old timers and new members) and I love your fur babies. With that out of the way (sorry I had to get it out) here are some recent pics of my pups and a few updates :

Jasper's epilepsy is under control and thus far with his meds, reg vet checks & tests and some extra TLC he is still symptomatic but no where near as bad off as he was:


Here is Mr. Moose now 2 yrs old with his daddy:


Little Ms. Ginger Snaps is now 6 months old...she will be spayed 12/11 which already has us a nervous reck. She is 3.7lbs..so really just a little peanut.

So good to hear from you!!! I've been busy too and haven't been on the computer let alone CP as much, but I am really glad to hear from you. Your chihuahuas are BEAUTIFUL and I never get tired of seeing them. =) Thanks so much for sharing, I especially love the trio pictures, their personality radiates through each pic! =D Keep in touch!! <3

Laura...I am so sorry that happened to you...it really is so childish to be forever comparing chihuahuas...my girls are what would be considered
"substandard " in some ( maybe most ) peoples eyes...but when I look at them, I only see beauty...the faces of angels ( albeit not the behaviour of angels some times ) Like humans, we all can't look Halle Berry...and really would we want to ?? I can go out without my hair perfect and dressed in my grubs and no one cares LOL.
I'm so glad to read Jaspar is doing better on his meds....
When it comes to fur, your crew would take every award ...beautiful coats.... It's hard to believe Miss Gingersnap is old enough to get spayed...where does the time go ! Those pics are so darn cute...I think you must be going over to your friends for the spa day before the holidays...looking forward to all the bathing pics...make sure Ralph has lots of towels LOL...

I am sorry that those things happened to you but I am glad that you came back.
There are LOTS of chis on here that are sub-standard and Jaxx is included in that. I had a person telling me one time how horrible it is that Jaxx has a floppy ear. Personally I love his floppy ear and I could care less if he is not perfect breed standard because of it. I think chis should be breeded for the standard but ultimately they should be breeded to make sure all health issues that can be eliminated are eliminated. From what I have read non breed standard chis can come out of the best breeds. I know that Jaxx was the only one in his litter who's ears did not stand up.

Your chis are beautiful and you have beautiful pictures of them. I just want to cuddle Ginger!
