Aw, Gemma knows you are going where petsmart is!!! Lol.

Poor Gemma will miss her mommy but you know she will be taken care of. But honestly you are a stronger person than me- I don't think I could go anywhere for that long without Toby. And if I did, I would only trust my mom to watch him. But Gemma will get some quality daddy time and be so happy to see you!!!

Rocky does the same thing when my sister packs to go anywhere- like "hey, don't forget about the rocketman!"

I really do hope Gemma is okay without me. Of course her daddy will take great care of her, but she is my little girl. She is so attached to me. She's always at my feet or in my lap. I just feel so bad because I can't tell her that I'm just going away for a couple weeks and then I'll be back! I worry she'll think I just disappeared and she'll get depressed. I'm getting teary-eyed here thinking about leaving on Tuesday. I'm going to cry so much when we walk out the door.

Yes, I'm leaving Tuesday. My flight sets out from Stockholm at 11am Swedish time and I will arrive in the US around 6pm EST. I'll be back in Sweden on the 28th. I hope I can enjoy myself and not be terribly missing Gemma the whole time. She will have many presents when I come home. It will be Christmas all over again but for her!

LOL, yes, that must be why she wants to tag along so badly. I honestly didn't want to go for this long, but my family really wanted me to stay even longer, so we compromised. I was thinking of just visiting for a week, they wanted me to come back for two months, lol.

I am indeed so lucky to have such a wonderful family. I will probably feel better once I'm there with them. I hope Gemma doesn't love me less for leaving, though. I know she won't forget me, but maybe I won't be her favorite anymore.
