The plane ride was not Toby's finest hour, lol.

He was great at the airport! But when we got on the plane his stress level went through the roof. There was another dog across the aisle and he started barking and growling (not like him). He wouldn't settle; the lady switched seats with someone to get away.

Going up in the air, he was great. Not so much as a whimper.

During the flight, he was pawing and whimpering. He refused to settle down. He was a nervous wreck the entire time we were in the air. I tried holding him in his carrier on my lap, which helped a little, but not much. His tongue was down to his paws and he was shaking like a leaf.

During the descent he was good! He actually laid down and relaxed. It was really strange after the complete crazy behavior he had exhibited.

He was so mad after that he wanted nothing to do with me. It took him an hour to get over it. The flight home should be sooo fun, lol.

He was super excited to see my family!! He was running around, but in the air, playing and giving kisses. And my family's dogs were good. Toby and Rocky are getting along well, and Lilly plays in her own "I'm old and can't run, so I will just sit her and make play noises while you run around me" way. Super cute.

That is how my daughter acts while flying.. lol Our pug gets very upset riding in the car from FL to NJ. Vet told me to give her dramamine. It seems to help settle her. I am glad you are with your family now, have a great Christmas!
