Smile ~Angie, here are the dog beds~

Angie(Star's Mama),

I took some pictures of the dog beds you asked about. I used to always buy
fabric beds, many died a miserable death in the washing machine. When I found
these I was ecstatic! They are durable, extremely easy to clean, they are
affordable, I believe one cost 12$ and the other 20$, and they look pretty good
for cheap rubber/plastic beds. I love them, and so do the pups. I've had these
for a long time, and they still look brand new.

So, you buy the base and the "mattress" separately(there are different mattresses/cushions to choose from)...

In order to make the cushion part last long, I put blankets on top. It's also extra cozy this way!

These beds come in different sizes...

The pups enjoy them...

Or you can always buy one of these doggie beds...my pack love them!
What is it called again? Oh yes, a COUCH!!!

Hope that helped! If anyone else is interested, I'm pretty sure these beds
are for sale in US and Canada, I think I've even seen them on UK sites.

Actually I was thinking to buy the exact bed for Star for the kitchen. Is the the Perla? What size are both of these? The smallest I seen is 26" for sale in that brand. Not sure it's the right size for her.

LOL>>couch! I actually dont have one of those. I got rid of my last one when we moved last year cuz it was free, broken, we dont use it. Looking for the perfect one for the next move...hopefully it's into...please pray that we can get a loan... what's it called?? A house! (BTW this house thing is stressing me out beyond the limit) Don't mind living in YOUR apartment, it looks so nice in the inside that I can see!

Those are the exact beds I have for my crew - they are brilliant! I use vet bedding on the base and at night in the winter put their cuddle sacks onto them. I love that I can just wipe them down and the vet bedding can be washed at very high temperatures and dry within minutes in the dryer.

This is the vet bedding - I just bought a big piece and cut it into 6 pieces - so I always have 3 spares - I have it about two years now and it's been washed and dried a zillion times and is perfect- Great Bargains at Metbed Blankets at zooplus: Vetbed Premium Dog Blanket, grey

ps I notice it says not to tumble dry I hadn't noticed that before and mine are always chucked in the tumble dryer at least once a week!

Those are awesome!

For those with a Costco club membership you can also buy cheap beds from there $25.00 or less and when they get nasty toss them as you did not pay that much for them. A large Costco bed (around $19.00) last my hounds for a year and a small Costco bed last my chis 6 months to a year as they like to dig in their bed. (The couch bed you see them in a lot was $23.00)

No couch??? How do you live? lol
That is the second best place for snuggling!

It's not the Perla. I got these a while ago so I couldn't remember the brand,
but I just Googled and found it for you. Here is their site where you can see
the different options...(I think it's wholesale only) name is: U-Design Pet Beds
U-Design Pet Bed

And here is a random site I found on Google that sells them...
UDesign Pet Bed - Dog.com

The one that the girls use is the smallest one, they sleep in it
together, but it's not big at all, they just like snuggling, lol. I
think the smallest size would be perfect for Star. They say the
smallest bed is 22inches, but it isn't really, only the rim is, but
the actual bed is only 16.5 inches.

And thank you for compliments on my apartment, hubby & I worked
our butts off on it, so it honestly really means a lot a lot.

Oh yes! I don't know how I forgot these vetbeds, you've mentioned them
before and I even bookmarked them. I wish I got those instead of the
cushions I bought. Oh well, next time.

You are welcome. Thank you for your kind words.
My pups had a cane basket once, it looked so pretty, but the little
trouble makers chewed on it at night, so we had to throw it out.

Costco is AWESOME! I love everything from there. I swear they only carry the
best regarding price/quality. I used to buy Costco beds, the large ones, but my
problem with them is I can't fit them in the washing machine, maybe if it was
just our pups it wouldn't be a problem, but we always had rescues, and with
the mites, mange, bladder issues, tummy issues, etc, I need to constantly
sterilize things, you know.

I totally understand! They work perfect in my hound house though as I do not have those issues. My issue is when Sadie thinks a bed is old she shreds it LOL
