Awesome! I tried camping with my hounds once. I learned my lesson though that the hounds need their own tent! Sadie tried to steal my pillow all night and Gibbs slept on top of me. How dare I make them sleep on a blanket on the ground LOL

If I did that to my hounds, I'd probably be homeless!

That's so great to hear about Nova's progress!

I am so jealous! We need a better vehicle- maybe not an RV, but something we can sleep in if we have to in case of really bad rain or wind.

There is never too much exploring for a chihuahua! Kerri regularly goes on 6-12 mile hikes, she can walk about 4 then we carry her for a couple, then she wants to walk again. If you start out slow and work up to it chis can become quite fit little explorers. I think she is even better for that than my bigger dog who has some orthopedic issues and can only walk 4-5 miles. Then the problem is he is too big to carry! A chi you can just pick up and keep on walking!

It was pretty cold so Kerri slept IN my sleeping bag with her little nose sticking out by my head- so cute! We bring Copley blankets and he wraps himself up and sleeps at the foot of the bags usually.

Yeah, when I got home I looked at my camera and was like "that's it???" We are going out again next weekend and I will take more! Not like me- I am usually taking way too many pictures.

I'm using the same thread because I went back to the same campsite!

We went out again this weekend and were going to try out a new campsite but couldn't find it. We still had a good time. Also for the first time ever Copley growled! It was crazy. I went out in the woods to ahem... well.. anyway I was away from the camp. I guess I surprised him coming back because he growled and was all ready to defend the campsite. Once he saw me he was Ok but it was kinda funny to see, Copley is so incredibly mellow I didn't know you could startle him. Kerri always loves camping, rolling in the dirt and cuddling up by the fire. We all had a great time.

Kerri loves snuggling by the fire but hates when the wind changes and there is smoke. Here she is hiding from smoke one way.

Here she is becoming a parrot to avoid the smoke^^

And here is the BEAUTIFUL sunset over the joshua trees. The desert is so beautiful, I can't believe how lucky I am to live here.

Oh you are the BEST! Thank you for more pictures, I really enjoyed them.

Outdoor pics are always the best. Your dogs are lucky to have you take them
on such adventures. It's fun. I camped in many places, but never in a desert,
it's definitely on my bucket list! Your pictures make me wish to go right now!
