Yes definitely tethered! Years ago there was a really bad accident by my house. The girl was in bad shape. When the police contacted her husband he asked about her German shepard. No one had even seen that there was a dog. My husband and I set out looking for the dog. Not knowing the dogs name and knowing it was scared, plus it was dark out, we just started looking for anything that moved. We found him! He wasn't gonna come to us, so I ran home and got food. He followed us and the food until we got him in the house and we called the police to ask them to let the husband know we had the dog. At 5 am there was a knock on my door. The husband said he was worried because the dog was older, and didn't always have control of his body functions and he didn't want to cause us any problems. His wife was out of surgery (head injuries) was in critical condition and she was not responding until he leaned close and told her that her dog was just fine.... He said she smiled!

That is scary. But also sweet. I'm glad y'all found that dog. . I know it's sad but I couldn't help but smile when she responded to her dog being okay. Tonka was stolen for a day and I just sat in my bed and cried and of course called the police and got him back that night. But it is really scary when something you did wrong causes our fur baby to be in danger.

which I'm sure he would be if the love affair was true, LOL.
