Smile Witch one?

I am considering adopting one of these dogs, witch one would be better for a family with 4 kids, and two adults?

Personally, I'd pick Star. She's house trained, a plus. She isn't scared of kids. The other one is a "wallflower" which means in simple language "scared of everything." I'd shy away from that if I had a boisterous household.

The only way to really tell is to go look in person! Good luck! Once you see them, you will know. But I'd definitely compare them both and not just pick the first one you go see.

I agree with Brodysmom.

Have you filled out an application yet, or spoken with someone about either one of them? If not then you may want to do so as according to the ages of your children you may run into a problem with adopting? How old are your children?

Also the 2nd dog (mixed) will get larger, no telling what it is mixed with and at only 4 months old it should have a lot of growing left to do (whether full Chi or mix). It gets on my nerves when rescues say a dog is not going to get much bigger when they have no idea whether this is true or not esp. when there is a unknown mix in the picture. I have known lots of people to adopt dogs and then bring them back because they got much bigger than what they were looking for. Not fair to the dog to be rehomed and then surrendered again just to be rehomed again Why not tell them that you dont know how large they will be? Just gets on my nerves.

How old are your kids? What are you looking for in a dog? For example, one to do outdoor activities with (like jogging, hiking, camping etc.), or an indoor lap dog?
