Not to sure how many are due definatly another 1 maybe 2. Is it normal that they don't suckle properly straight away. X

tallulahs puppie were struggling to latch, so when mum was relaxed, i placed them all on her belly and left her to it, the puppies scrabbled around and found a nipple each. if mum is still in active labour, she may not feel comfortable laying down and feeding the new baby. when labour is over, she will settle. just make sure that daisy is warm throughout mums labour, mum will (should) do the rest when she has parted with all her puppies. try not to interfere 2 much, if princess has eaten the placenta etc, she sounds like she is KNOWING what to do. let mum do as much as she can, and watch from a short distance. xx

It's so hard not to get involved and I think because i have lost 3 puppies
in a week I am being over the top maybe just don't want her to die like the rest if you
know what I mean. Daisy keeps putting her leg in her mouth bless her but when I put her on the nipple she does not want to suck but like you said I'm sure she will be ok. Can they go a while without milk then I was told they can just don't like the sound
of it lol. X
