Has anyone ever used tums for tear staining? I just got to thinking, since taking her off kibble, I no longer give her The Missing Link, maybe I need to add that back in, as she's been on it for a couple of years and never had tear staining? (She's even on their website for testimonials for it for hair regrowth), she will eat it right out of the spoon, maybe I need to start giving that again. Like I said before I want to avoid the Angel Eyes if possible (if I do go that route I will just by straight Tylosin as it's cheaper in the long run), I used to give my Westie Jakob the Tylan Powder on his food, he never had staining problems. But with Zoey she is on so many drugs all the time, I'd like to avoid more as long term antibiotics tend to make her resistant to that antibiotic and she's allergic to some antibiotics (anaphylactically to Zeniquin) so I have to be careful. I think I will maybe starting giving her The Missing Link again, I read on a maltese website that it helps.

Angel Eyes has worked amazingly for my Mr Big and now he only gets it when he has seasonal allergies which makes his eyes water.
But I think the staining could just be from the detox. When people detox they sweat more, temporary bad breath, etc. It could just be the toxins getting out?
