Default Cricket got sick

Cricket vomited today. She didn't eat this morning and hasn't had anything to drink. If she isn't better tomorrow I plan on taking her to the vet, but can I give her some chicken broth? She really needs something.

I would try anything at this point (within reason I mean, like, don't give her jello lol) but in small portions. When Kahlua was a baby there was a period where the only thing she'd eat was baby food (chicken puree.) Dehydration can get very serious, very fast. Sadly though most broths are too high in salt which can dehydrate worse; so make sure if you try a bit that its low sodium.

Try giving a tiny bit of canned pumpkin. That works good for easing upset tummies.

How were her stools the last time she went?

They weren't loose. I feel so bad. We don't have canned pumpkin, but will some sweet potatoes work?

Dogs throw up. It's normal. I wouldn't worry. She will eat/drink when her tummy feels better. As long as there's no blood and it doesn't happen for more than two days, she should be fine.

I know I shouldn't worry, but I can't help it. Frisco got sick the same day that he passed, and it scares me. I just want her happy and healthy.

Give her a little chicken breast or something bland. I wouldn't feed her a full meal yet though.

She is much better. I think she just had a little tummy thing, or its possible too my husband gave her something when I wasn't around that she shouldn't have had. He gives her stuff off his plate a lot. I tell him not too, but he wants to spoil her. But I don't think he will anymore after the other day of her not eating and feeling sick.
