Cricket isn't very vocal unless she has something to say. I can generally understand her needs anyway. The "Daddy is home" bark. The "Please pick me up" squeak. And so forth. But tonight she did something odd. Odd to me anyway. She barked in the direction of the kitchen. Not just any bark. I'm sure some of y'all can understand what I mean by type of bark. It sounded like "Danger in the kitchen" bark. So I went and looked in the kitchen. I even peeked out the back door. Nothing. I didn't hear any noises. I don't watch tv often and it wasn't on. Anyone have any ideas what she could have been barking at? Her head and tail were lowered, the tail not completely tucked under. She presented an almost I'm-fixing-to-fight pose.

Maybe she heard something outside?? My older Chi will just go off like that and I don't see or hear anything either.

Ninja does that alot at a plain white wall it freaks me sometimes very strange
