For the past month or so I've noticed Lily slightly squats then lifts her leg when peeing. She uses pee pads btw. SOOooooo, what's the deal with this? Is this normal for a girl to do? Olive, unfortunately STILL isn't using the pee pads, so there is rarely Olive sent on them.

Also, is it normal for a dog to become a picky eater out of nowhere? For months the girls have been eating TOTW, I've switched the flavors a couple of times and they seem to love them all, but for the past week or so Lily hasn't seemed very interested in eating at all. Normally she runs up, stands on her back legs and gets super excited about meal times, but now she just watches me from the couch, slowly walks up, sniffs and walks away or nibbles VERY slowly.

It helps if I add nupro and warm water or use Ziwipeak as a topper, but I'm just surprised by her change cause shes normally a piggy

ALSO, I bought a bunch of bags of Fromm grain free treats, stocking up on them because they both go crazy for them, but again Lily is not interested...

Now besides these two things (Lilys change in appetite and her lifting her leg to pee) she is is acting her normal, sweet, playful self.

I dunno but my 4 yr old chi does the same. She came to us at 2 and has done it since we got her.

I have a few girls that do that. It's normal. How old is Lilly?

My chi, Zarita has done this ever since she was 6-7 months old. Normal Sue

I was reading that it may be a dominance thing. It almost looks like she does it so she wont have to step in it... lol

My boxer (female) used to do this before she got so old it hurt. She still does it at the dog park. I used to have a male german shepherd that was neutered young (shelter puppy) and he only raised his leg when we went hiking, never at home.

Mia does that but I just thought it was because she saw Bizkit do it. He was the only dog around when she was a puppy.
Are you sure your girl doesn't have a dental issue? It kind of sounds to me like it could be something along those lines.
