My older chi Zoe licks in between her paws alot. It makes them look reddish brown. She has done this since we got her 2 years ago she is 4 now. They never bleed or anything like that but I just wonder if any other chis do this?

Billy constantly licks his front legs/paws. He's always done this since I got him as a baby. There is never any sores or anything, so I let him, I think it calms him down.

Licking does relieve stress.

Provided that she is on a grain free diet (grains can cause allergies and paw licking) you should be fine. The only other thing I'd wonder about is carpet cleaner, floor cleaner and such.

She eats Blue Wilderness. I only use 7th Gen cleaning products.

Jaxx licks so much I have told my boyfriend that I am going to create a lickaholics anonymous class for him. He does lick his front paws a lot but he will lick anything if he can.
I have noticed that if he is hyper and I do not stimulate him by playing with him or taking him for a walk he will start licking.

Paco licks his feet as well and he is grain free.
