How old is she? When Odie was a puppy, one of her ears would always flop when she was tired.

Chi ears can take up to a year before they finally stand permanently, but most times if they
are not up by 7 months they won't go up. If your baby is teething, that's the reason.

I was told you need to sometimes stimulate the ears, like rub them, for them to sometimes stay up. If Gypsy is still a puppy they will still be floppy and start to stay up when they are older. Milo has such large ears they seem to be always up so I'm not sure, his ears were up straight at 10 weeks. A few other puppies I looked at had them straight up but when they were tired from playing one or both started to flop down a tad. I love their little radar dish ears<3

My little Timmy has this problem. I must mention he is not pure Chi .. but would say he is predominantly Chi. His ears are up and down and he is 12 months in one weeks time. So I'm losing hope they will ever stay up 'all' of the time. I love them up, he looks so cute. But they do their own thing. I tallied with the idea of sticking them up with tape when he was about 7 months or so .. but he hated it and just pulled it off. I 'think' they do respond to massaging .. but later will still go down again .. here is a pic of him with them up.

Taz's ears were up at six weeks and stayed up until she was 4months or so then one went down for a single day. Next day it was back up and it has been back up since.
