Thank you all for the responses! He is starting to eat finally! Still not into treats but he had a few bites to eat. He peed on the carpet three times yesterday, the last time I luckily saw him doing it and sternly told him not to. It was heart breaking putting on that voice to that face especially when he looked at me innocently but since then he's peed and pooped in the backyard twice. Progress! How long should I wait before it's okay to start walking him outside? I don't think he's leash trained.
Also, this is a silly question but since I've never owned a dog before I have to ask it. When he's not playing, eating, eliminating or any of that I feel guilty for not entertaining him or something. I mean the lil fella sleeps a lot throughout the day (normal for chis, right?) while I do homework. He seems to only be comfortable sleeping when I'm in the house though, I do I get him to enjoy sleeping if I'm not around? Here he is enjoying a sleep by the way:
