Question Nipple question

Bailey was in heat but has been done bleeding for a week or so now. But her nipples have gotten really big and hard, how long will this last? There's NO WAY she's pregnant! Thanks in advance!!!

It's perfectly normal... I freaked out too when we experienced our first
Season.

Basically when a bitch comes out of heat, mated or not her body automatically prepares for pregnancy which is why some have really bad false pregnancies but the hardness around the teats normally Goes down after a few weeks.
Make sure you keep an Eye out for signs of pyometra

False pregnancy - she will look and act pregnant. Belly will swell. She may become very moody and clingy. May adopt a toy as a surrogate baby and carry it around. Her mammary glands and nipples may engorge and she may even produce milk. Very distressing time for her. Hopefully she won't have one.

Pyometra - watch the vaginal discharge. Watch for fever or signs of infection. If you notice a bad odor coming from her back there, or any discharge - get her to the vet. Sometimes the signs are really subtle, she may just act "off". Don't delay if you suspect a pyo, pyometra can be deadly.

It can take around 2-3 weeks after Prada is in heat for her teats to go back to normal
