Question Itchy skin but its not dry

Hi guys, i need some help with tiny. Ive notice latley that wen i scratch tiny she really REALLY enjoys it, usually she doesnt make faces and close her eyes or do the leg thing. Its mainly all over her back that she's been really liking it. She doesnt have dry skin nor does it flake, but i do notice that wen i get to certain areas where she'll shake her leg there is a little bump and ive found these itchy bumps on her back, behind her neck and ears. Theres not a lot of them, so far ive found about 4 or 5 of them. And she doesnt even scratch herself except for the occasional once in a while. I am also slowly changing her food to canidae pure elements chicken, turkey, lamb and ocean fish meals. Could it possibly b a food allergy? I kno she has no fleas, ive already checked her. If you have any tips or ideas pls let me kno, thanks tons!

What is she eating or was eating while you're transitioning her to canidae? Sounds like it might be an allergy of some sort. How old is she? It may be a food allergy or it could be an environmental allergy or both. Do you have those nice smelling sprays in your house that go off on a timer to freshen the air in your house?

Before she was on wellness sm brd puppy, she is 1 yrs and 4 months. I transitioned lated cuz i also have a puppy and they ate frm the same bag when i got penny 4 months ago. We dnt have any auto sprays, we only have the manual ones in the bathroom and we only spray in the bathroom, tiny is terrified of the bathroom she wont go in there even if im in there with the door opened.

The reason I brought up the aerosol sprays whether automatic or manual is because my hubby put one up in the bathroom and My chi is at my feet no matter where I am including on the toilet. Well it sprayed while we were in there & we got sprayed. Midgie immediately had bumps (hives) pop up all on her back from it. I had to bathe her immediately before it got any worse. It sounds like something that may be going on with your chi since you don't see the bumps else where. Try bathing her with a dog shampoo.

Christina, when is Tiny's next vet appointment? Ask him/her to take a look.
It could be such a variety of issues. Skin problems can be a real pain, better
address them before they get out of hand. Keep us posted.
