Nearly the same thing happened to my Cody earlier this year one day he was fine and the next he couldn't breathe, was going in and out of consciousness and was foaming at the mouth.. He is now on the liquid version of Lasix and takes 1/4 pill of Enalapril every day. In the beginning, the Lasix made him urinate like crazy.. He even became incontinent. Now the urination isn't as bad. He has to have access to water constantly. At first he was only taking Lasix and that wasn't working as well. We were at the Vet just about every day so he could be in the oxygen chamber. Once Enalapril was prescribed the CHF became more manageable. Now that we have CHF managed he is going in for his LP surgery in 2 weeks.
--After a few weeks I'm sure Frankie's symptoms will become more manageable... CHF is an unfortunate disease but thankfully it can be managed and their quality of life remains well. =)

Cody has had better days unfortunately =(. Our problem these days is his LP and not so much his heart.

Frankie is really acting like nothing is wrong, except for his diahrrea.

His LP issue is still here, he is a grade 4, doesn't get much worse. The LP surgery is big, don't get me wrong. We have been there. Just trying to get this CHF under control and lose a couple of lbs.......
