Her mouth smells like she needs to brush her teeth. When the lady with the rescue place came over she got itchy eyes from the smell too. Her vet appointment is next Thursday so if it is a medical problem they will know. I think a little kid sprayed her with perfume. The rescue person said people spray their dogs when they are in heat thinking it will keep other dogs away. She also said it was stupid and doesn't work. She thought Jenna is 2 or 3 years old which has me a little worried because she suddenly falls asleep quite a bit. I hope she isn't diabetic.

That would be awful to spray a dog with perfume!

That's so odd, I hope it's not embedded in the skin And most likely the vet will prescribe a special shampoo and routine for you and miss thing. Please let us know how her vet trip goes I'm very interested to hear what the vet has to say about it

Is the smell chemically, or is it sickeningly sweet?

With her falling asleep suddenly all the time and the smell, I would guess she is diabetic. I hope all goes well with the vet!
