My poor baby constantly rubs her eyes. Is there any safe eye drops anyone uses for their chis? I read on here someone was told by the dermatologist to use Zaditor eye drops. Just curious.

Aw poor little girl, I would not use anything in the eyes unless a vet gave it to me.

Rubbing her eyes may be a sign of allergies. What does the vet say? Eyes are nothing to play around with. What food are you using?

It is allergies. I was just wondering if anyone on here uses any kind of drops for their chis. I'm just going to have to take her back to the holistic vet to see what he can do & maybe give her something for the itchies as well. I was trying to avoid another huge bill. I feed raw & ZP.

We used eye drops with one of our cats, but it was a prescription from the vet. It was just basically a safe natural tear lubrication type drop to get rid of irritation.

Sorry your little one is having some problems...itchy eyes can be very irritating....both of my girls get lacrilube gel into their eyes daily...it is non prescription and advised by the ophthalmologist...Tears Naturale is also good but doesn't provide the comfort for long...you could use these products safely until you see your holistic vet....

I have a few days off so far this week, so I'm planning on trying to get her in to the holistic vet & I'll let you all know the results.
