he should shed less on the better quality food - my longs shed much less (only seasonally) than my SIL's smooths

I switched my Pug to Fromm food and pugs shed a lot all year round, she is shedding less with the better food. It took my pug about a month to shed less, on the better food.

Ike my chi is too little yet to shed, but the people I got him from had him on a cheap puppy food, I switched him to Fromm and have noticed his fur is starting to get shinny, which it was very dull. I am very happy with the better foods, but it will take about a month to see the difference. Glad you are feeding the better food.
