Go to dogfoodanalysis.com to get an idea of what some of the superior quality foods are, and that will get you on the right track.

Before you spend money on Vet bills, I strongly suggest you change the food to a much higher quality one. The results won't be instant, but if food is the culprit they will be permanent. And even if it doesn't eliminate the symptoms, there is no downside. You're doing your dog a huge favor and contributing to excellent health by feeding a high quality food.
We are definitely planning to change her food now, and the advice you and the other users have really helped into narrowing down which brands! Thank you very much for your advice!

That's awesome! That's what I love so much about this forum--info that you wouldn't normally come across on your own.

Hi and welcome. I had the same thing with Mylo when I first got him and he was on the food the breeder had him on. I switched to Ziwipeak and started giving him salmon oil and he doesn't chew or scratch his paws at all now.

How do you give him the salmon oil? Are they supplements or do you just put drops on his food?
