Default Grease Ball

So I have been feeding my girls Blue Buffalo Wilderness for about 4 months. They have been on duck and salmon in the past but in the last two months I have stuck to the chicken flavor. Lacey, Faye, and Honey have done great on it. But in the last few weeks I have noticed Osha becoming extremely greasy. I mean looks like she has been dunked in a tub of cooking oil. I bathed her once and about 3 days later she was back to greasy. Vet says she is heathy ect. It's just strange because the chicken never did this before. She is not experiencing any itchies/any other strange reactions. Friday I am going to buy another months worth of food and am considering going back to duck, salmon, or even beef. Maybe that will make a difference. Has anyone else experienced a dog greasy to this extent? She literally looks wet.

I bet it is the food, if they vet didn't see any type of skin issue. I would switch back to the variety you had her on before and see if that helps.

Do you give salmon oil as well? I found Lady to be a bit "greasy" as well with the salmon oil daily plus ZP. I have cut her back to about 3 or 4 times a week with the salmon oil. I gave her a bath before thanksgiving and she is still looking good. I guess I could see that the problem might be food related.

I agree. If this is since the change to chicken and he was doing better on the other flavors, I would go back to the other flavors.

I have that problem with Jem. It's mostly around her head and ears. I've had her on the Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream formula since I got her. However, I've been giving her the Venison formula for the past week since I ran out and got free samples at the pet store and she doesn't look as greasy. I'm thinking of switching her over to that one permanently.
