It really depends on each individual dog and its lifestyle. But generally speaking,
the less the better. Every time you bathe, you strip natural oils off the dog. My
girls get four active long walks per day, they get dirty to say the least, but all I
do is wash their paws, bums, and bellies in lukewarm water after each walk,
without any soap/shampoo. If they didn't get dirty outside, then I simply take a
damp warm rag and wipe them gently head to toe. And they get their proper
baths every couple of months.
