I'm wondering what age u should bath ur chi?

I'd say about 16 weeks or so. That's the first time I took Crackers to be groomed.

KC already got a bath while she was at the breeders once and then twice at my place. she doesnt go out much right now so she doesnt need a bath constantly as much as dex does

I figure after 8 weeks its okay- no idea if there is a real "right" answer. I just wouldn't bathe more than every 6-8 weeks about, so their skin doesn't dry out and their coats stay nice and shiny.

I've given 6 week old puppies a bath. Just be sure to dry them completely before letting them out into the air. I've always given puppies a bath immediately after getting them unless they obviously just had one. And the earliest I've gotten a puppy is 8 weeks. Sometimes the puppies get them daily or when needed (some of been poopers in crates at night LOL) and if they stay clean it's every 4-6 weeks. The more you bathe the more apt you are to dry out their skin. I've not really had a problem with that using Tropiclean. The baby shampoo I use to use when getting my first Chi dried out their skin awful. Just an fyi since I know a lot of people recommend that. I personally didn't have good luck w/it.
