Pearl was sitting near our wood burning stove. One of the stacked logs on the fire rolled a little bit and made a banging noise against the side of the stove. Poor Pearl was scared beyond belief! Last night she would not eat her supper, she would not go into the room living room where the stove is, she was acting strange all evening.

All she wanted was to stand near my feet. I wanted to pick her up and comfort her but Hubby said no, that would only make things worse. So we took a car ride and a treadmill walk. She seemed a tad better after that.

This morning she was acting normally. It's funny how things can scare these tiny dogs. Hubby was right about picking her up, if I had, it would have reinforced the fear.
