Post Dogs Skin

Puppies are a delight to pet, in particular when they’re favored with fit skin and glistening fur. But some puppies have an itchy skin, chipping skin and dull covers. What would you be able to do to re store your dog’s gleaming skin?

I would take a look at the diet of the puppy. What are they eating? Kibble fed dogs generally will have dryer skin as it takes more hydration to process than say raw premades or prey model raw. If they don't drink enough water at the time of food consumption their bodies will take water from their bodies thus dehydrating them somewhat. I always add water to my dogs food no matter what they're eating (unless prey model or frozen patties which already have hydration in them). On top of feeding a good premium grain free diet and adding water to their food you can also add a variety of "oils" like coconut oil or salmon oil.

In my experience, any kibble fed dog I've taken & switched them to ZiwiPeak (which is my crews primary diet) with water added, not even adding any extra oils or supplements (ZP has some fish oils & vitamins/minerals already added)...the coats are noticably thicker & softer even after 2 weeks. I've only had 1 with dry skin after the switch and I assume that was because I was not adding water to her food as she was very small & I wanted her to eat as much as possible w/o hydration taking up room in her belly. Now that she's older/bigger I have started adding water & she looks much better.

Anyway...those are my thoughts.
