Believe me he is not trained as well as I would like! I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted and have issues with it being pulled out because of vacuuming. It is a pain in the rump to go through a surgery to have it replaced just because I vacuumed the carpet so I agree not to vacuum. Unfortunately, this means I don't get the floors vacuumed as much as I would like. I had always vacuumed every other day or so...hubby thinks that is excessive so he vacuums once a week. Hubby gets very upset if I vacuum because he doesn't want me to have to have another surgery until my battery in my spinal cord stimulator dies.

Leila keeps quiet and runs from it. She was abused before she came to us, so when she gets scared she gets low to the ground and gives the sad-puppy-dog-eyes. She does that when the thing is on, so I have to pick her up and put her in the other room on the bed or someplace safe like that.
When it's off she keeps her distance but she doesn't freeze up.

One of our fosters would try and bite the vaccuum and growl and bark, it drove me crazy! I put her in the crate and covered it with a blanket 'till I was done.

That is terrible! I vaccum every day. I have two special needs toddlers and a dog who likes to tear stuff up though... I can't imagine only vaccuming only once a week! Srsly, that is like a horror to me.

It is to me too. Our carpets do not get really dirty it is just us and Jaxx but my brain says it needs done A LOT more often.

Toby is a tough guy with the vacuum. He usually chases it and barks. He's not scared of anything.
