Do you feel that it is best to have more than one Chi? I feel that if you have someone to keep your baby company during the day when you are gone it is great. And it does not have to be another Chihuahua either. It could be another dog as well.

How do they get along? I'm just debating on getting another pug or chi if I had a chance to get one. Kinda scared of getting another pug.

I originally bought koda and she was the sweetest girl. But then I realized she would fling a ball in the air and then go retrieve it! (All on her own) so I decided to get Austin after i had koda spayed. Another chi, but a boy. And they are the besssssst of friends! Sometimes they do get a little jealous of eachother like while fighting over my lap. But I am a nurse, I'm gone sometimes 12 hrs and I feel so much better knowing they have each other!

Well, since Sadie is 6 years older , she is very protective of Ike. We just lost our Fox Terrier, she was almost 17 years old and she didn't like Ike at all. When she growled at him, Sadie would stand between them and growl back at her. A Chi puppy is so much more active then a pug puppy. I think another Chi would be better match, they would have more in common Sadie is a mother figure to Ike, she doesn't really play with him.

We had Leo, a puggle, when we got Tiki. They are very good friends! It actually helped Leo with a couple a behavioral issues he had, like separation anxiety. And tiki cuddles with him and they play and rough house.
