Hiya, took Honey to the vets yesterday, she weighed 3.3kg on theirs! So she's lost 2 pounds in 11 days.
We went back this morning for a check up and chat, nothing wrong with her physically, she's not in pain, not been off her food, still as mad as ever and wanting to play all the time! Her ribs are not visible and can only be felt when pressed.
So the vet could only conclude that it's normal. She said perhaps she was eating too much food a month or two ago, causing her weight to go up, then the last couple of weeks she's been eating normal? She said to keep an eye on her food intake etc, keep bringing her in every couple of days for weight checks. If it goes down anymore I can have x rays and bloods done ASAP, otherwise I've elected to have them checked when she goes in for her spay on the 4th jan.

How strange! That does sound a lot in such a short space of time. I suppose you'll just have to keep a close eye on her before her op..

I wonder if the scale was off with the original weigh in. No the less, glad she is well!
