Default Benadryl for Nettle Stings?

Hi, would you give Benadryl for nettle stings? Honey is licking her paw like crazy and running around like a loon trying to get away from 'it'. Shes not in pain when i touch it and shes let me wash it out with bicarb and water, there is nothing stuck in it, so i can only assume its from a nettle sting (we were out on a walk when she started lifting her leg in the air). Thanks.

You can. It's not going to hurt her. You give 1 mg per lb.

When I got into nettles, I used a cortisone lotion. Worked like a charm. My 'stings' were very red though--I KNEW right away what had happened. Are the stings red? Watch her and see if the antihistamine works. I'd also use a topical lotion with cortisone in it.
