My puppy is just around 6 months old and on the 4th of Jan I'll be moving from Texas to Iowa. Between this we will be staying in a hotel for 2 days as per my friends idea and request. We will be traveling for 9 hours to the hotel for the 2 night stay before then heading to Iowa which is another 20 hours or so.

I have a travel type water bottle and bowl plenty of food set aside so I don't have to hunt through the Uhaul to find her food. I have her clothes for as the weather gets colder I am sure she'll need heavier items. I have a pet carrier that can be fastened into the seat belt for her and plan on buying 2 new chew toys to try and occupy her. I have the bags for her bathroom breaks and 2 harnesses and leashes. I have a few bully sticks set aside in the backpack just for her stuff and all her vet records just in case. She is house trained but I have a crate for the hotels. I have a list of pet friendly hotels in my purse.

My question is there anything else I should be looking at having easy access to?

I think you have it pretty well thought out. When we drove from Chicago to NH we did it in three days. They really did great. We let them out to stretch/potty every 2 hours or so. They slept most of the time. I also had bully stix to chew on when we got to the motel. As long as I was near, they were fine.
