Hi, ive just put charchi on comfortis for fleas, i used it on my other dog and it worked really well. Charchi has an allergy to flea bite same as my other dog to, so i figured i would try Charch on it, was reading that some people like the product, say it workes well, but are a lttle worried about it having to be taken orally, and wondering if it,s safe? what do u guy,s think about Comfortis?-thanks janet.

I use it for fleas during the warmer months. I have tried the holistic preventatives and they just don't work for my dogs. I think it is a safe product, though with any flea preventative there are risks of side effects. I just use it when I have to, not year round.

Toby was given comfortis when he had fleas because it worked fast and was effective for 30 days (unlike capstar which is only protective for a few days). It worked exceptionally well and fast! I gave it to him with food as the vet recommended and he didn't experience any side effects. It's possible that there could be side effects- flea meds all have some- but I think comfortis is safe.
