I just noticed a giant bruise on her neck I have no idea where it came from. Should I be worried? She doesn't act like it hurts. I think it looks worse in real life.

Has your baby by any chance been to the vet's recently, maybe to draw blood
from jugular? That can cause bruising.

If not, then is it possible she got into rat poison? Are there any other bruises
(check gums and ears too). Does she pull on leash? Has she been around other
dogs recently? How is her behavior & appetite overall?

She was at the vet, but that was almost a week ago. It was on Saturday. They drew blood. Could it take that long for the bruise to show up? I'm going to call the vet and ask before they close. She hasn't be outside today. She hasn't been around any other dogs. And there isn't any rat poison here

oh my goodness. that's a big one. What did the vet say?

They said it can show up that late after drawing blood. She isn't acting any different and she doesn't act like it hurts.

Just a lucky guess. I've seen a few of these neck bruises here on the forum.
I'm glad it's not anything serious.
