Izzie is black, but considered black and brown since she has some brown peeking out (almost looks dirty in some areas) but she has no hair loss or thinning areas.

Angel is pretty much the way Missy described. He has almost no hair on parts of his legs, temples, chest, but the back of his neck is very thick!

It sounds to me like it could be the demodex mange. Give it time and see what happens!

Both mine are black, chica has no hair loss anywhere, her hair is thick and soft and shiny.
Guillermo on the other hand has no hair on his underside, and just this past week I had to bring him in because there were bald patches wherever he c.ould reach. No mange or parasites were found but he does have a bacterial infection in his skin. doc thinks it allergies, so put him on antibiotic, and steroid. It's been a week and he is no longer itching and chewing and it looks like his hair is starting to grow back finally.
Get this does anyone else's dog do this? When I give Guillermo his pills he takes.it and chews them up! No problem giving him meds at all!

Mine are a nightmare to give meds to. Mylo will literally eat anything, including the plastic handle off my glasses but would he eat the supposedly beef flavour worming tablets?? No! Mylo used to chew his paws until I switched his food to ZP and started giving him salmon oil. I've switched to another 5 star food and he's fine still.

It so strange, I have NEVER had a pet that would take their meds and just chew it up like a treat, I don't have to hide it in anything or force it down hi throat.

I had to hide them in the middle of meaty treats, pick up the bits they spat out and wrap it up in more treat and these tablets were only tiny and they were only having half! You're so lucky!
