Default My dogs pees on the bed

Bambie is 3 and is potty trained but whenever I leave him in the living room(we have a bed in out living room) for a little bit, he pees on the bed. I don't know why he does this because he's not a lazy dog and his restroom is very close. Please help?

Is your Bambie neutered? If not he is 'marking' the bed as his territory. IF he is neutered, then I would not let him near this bed. Can you block it off somehow? Maybe use a fabric fence of some sort?

There is a spray that is supposed to deter them from peeing in a certain place and my mom had great success with it and her little guy peeing on her chair. It's worth a try!

I think I would go back to basics with this dog, If there's one thing I cannot handle it's dogs that pee on the bed! dogs have to earn that priviledge and part of that is by demonstrating that they know not to go there (and don't)

I have one I cannot allow on the bed & one who sleeps there every single night without incident, some dogs who have weaker bladders just cannot hold it all night (my females issue) I'm not clear though if this is a dog bed your talking about? or a regular bed? that would help if you could clarify!

not sure if this will add any useful information but at my old place My Chi would sometimes pee on my roommates bed and my roommates chi would sometimes pee on my bed! ... I ended up only did some basic shaming and "punishment" by not allowing her into my room and not allowing her daily play time with my chi and eventually she stopped.

Could it be that the process of getting onto the bed is very difficult? My roommates chi was not a good jumper and that may have been the reason. Either way I agree blocking off the area during the day and if you have time have play time and or take a nap with the chi on the bed! that way I think you can better keep an eye on her and eventually she/he should forget that they enjoying peeing their

Of course I'm not a expert but somehow I managed to raise a rather house trained chi
