Default Which ziwipeak to buy?

We go through a 2.2 pound bag of Ziwipeak in 1 one month. So, it would take us 5 months to go through an 11 pound. Would it be ok to keep a bag that long? Or would it go bad?

You're supposed to finish it within 8 weeks which I actually wasn't aware of till last week when I checked thier website. I had my bag for about 3 months...oops. Nothing bad happened but I probablg wouldn't reccommend it. A lot of users freeze thiers but according to their website you shouldn't freeze it or take it out of the original bag because it'll change its properties. Hopefully someone else can chime in with some advice.

That's interesting. The expiration date on the bag I have now is 5/2014. I wonder if maybe that's just the sell by date?

Once you open it and air hit it you should use it in 8 weeks, it states that on the bag.

Yeah, I think it is.

As others have said, once the bag is opened it is good for about 8 weeks.

I always divide the bag (2.2) into small Tupperware containers. I figure this way I am not opening the full contents all the time.
