Probably the dumbest question anyone's ever asked, but....

When things are recommended to be done at 5 months old, does that mean 20 weeks old, or 5 calendar months after her birthday? Edie was born on the 31st of August, so is she classed as 5 months old now, or on the 31st of January?

I counted months by their actual birth date.
Things like immunizations and such I went by 8 weeks (rather than 2 months), 12 weeks (rather than 3 months) and so on.
