Lola gets extremely Anxious when we go out I was wondering has anyone tried one of these?

yep... it worked wonders for my Manchester terrier..... the dog was a bundle of nerves... forever shaking. Loud noises, thunder would drive him nuts....... put the shirt on him and he would lie down and sleep..... not even notice the noise or thunder...

I've never had the need. But a dear friend of mine who has a a 5 pound chihuahua/poodle mix uses it on her dog, and says it made a big difference. The dog is still anxious during thunderstorms and other loud things like fireworks, but nowhere near as bad. She'll actually sit on her owner's lap instead of trying to hide behind the toilet or trying to get into the space that's just a bit too small for her, between the refrigerator and the wall....poor thing

Lola I fine with thunder and loud noises unless I drop something. I was also wondering if I took her out in public if it would help. I suppose I could try it and return it.

I have one for my pup Emmie. She did fine with it. Also used it with Zarita too for storms. Emmie was for anxiety reasons.

When we go out Lola is fine but when people want to pet her no way. She is not mean but will not let anyone touch her. She is funny she will ignore most people sometimes if people get on the ground with a treat she will go over sniff their hands stick her nose in the air and walk away. Lola looks very confident when she walks around her head and tail are always held high. She was severely abused and starved the first 18 months of her life. When she came to us she had very little muscle mass from being kept in a small cage 24 hours a day. She seems more secure when she is in a carrier she lets people pet her then I figured maybe this would make her feel secure. Even now after 2 1/2 years when I approach her sometimes she will crouch way down almost looks like she is going to pee if a clicker or something drops she will run. She is such a sweetie I can't believe how horrible some people are. She is very curious about people though so that must be a good sign.
