Default Bad Breath!

Picos breath is never awesome but... I picked him up from my friend's doggy daycare yesterday after work and she told me his breath was horrendous. She wasnt kidding!
I checked his teeth all all looks well. He seemed fine and ate his dinner as usual. I searched the forums and more than one person said that anal gland issues gave their pups bad breath and Pico has AG issues. I called the vet first thing this morning and took him in to get his (very full) AGs expressed by the vet tech (no vet appointments were available)
Once home, he has been curled up with me all day which is VERY unlike active Pico. His breath is still pretty awful. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
And btw... No muzzle and no screaming today! So proud of my pup!
Thanks for any thoughts

Does he eat poo?
Has he had all his retained baby teeth removed?
In USA there's lots of clear, tasteless fluids (look for ones with the plant Yuka in them) that keep plaque & bad breath at bay

Default Bad Breath!

What kind of chews do you give him? Whenever Jaxx's breath gets bad I make sure he has a chewy and convince him to chew on it.
Jaxx loves deer antlers and bully sticks

Even if the teeth look okay it can be a hidden tooth prblem that will eventually show tartar or plaque if letf alone. Better to prevent it now

What do you mean 'need anal glands done?"

When their anal glands need to be expressed. gently squeeze with your finger on both sides of her anus if you feel a little ball on either side they need to be expressed.
