Exclamation alopecia?!

Hello, my name is Emily and I just came to understand what alopecia is.
I bought my chihuahua without doing any research on alopecia...
My Chi's mother is cream and her dad is fawn. From what my research tells me , they are both diluted gene carrier? If so, does that mean I might have to deal with alopecia later on in her life? Please let me know. Thank you so much guys!!!

No, Precious and Vanilla look like they are not blue (a light grey color). They both seem to have solid black noses, real blue chihuahuas have blue noses. I just got a blue girl.Sora and her sister both have blue noses. Even though the sister is cream she is a blue cream. Did your breeder say they were Blue?

Thank you! no, in just reading about it, I called the breeder he said non of the parents are "blue".
So you tell "blue" by nose color? Not coat color?

Light grey can look like blue. The dilute colors have lighter noses, I believe. Non-dilutes have black noses.

Even if your baby is a "blue" it doesn't mean you'll automatically deal with Alopecia. Have you been seeing hair loss?
