Default Little chi boy at many tears needs a new home (UK)

Hi

His situation isnt urgent as he is in a foster home but I just wanted to let people know about him to give him a helping hand in finding a new home he is called Brandy is 5 years old black and tan, long hair and a little on the portly side! if anyone is interested you can find him and all the relevant infor on many tears animal rescue website. I wish I could take him myself but unfortunatly my little boy would be too jealous.

That would be fantastic if you did get him hes got beautiful markings I think they would prefer for him to go to an experienced home and one with other dogs so Im sure you would be more than suitable, hes in foster down south I think(they foster all over the uk so they can take in more dogs mostly poor ex breeding dogs) but the rescue by the looks of things are very helpful in terms of sorting out stuff so that the right dog goes to the right home.

good luck hopefully you will be able to get him.

he is in milton keynes. I tohught maybe he was local.
Do you have much to do with them?

I looked all over thier website, it's sad to see so many cats and dogs in care.

I wondered about fostering for them, but am not sure if that would work with me having three dogs and cats etc already. I didnt notice any dogs fostered in this area, and I was told last year newcastle has the worst numbers of dogs dumped etc in the whole country!

I have also printed off a lotto form, and requested a standing order form, and offered to knit some dog jumpers if it would help. My jumpers arent much good but I am sure foster doggies wouldnt mind the odd wrong patterning lol

I've enquired about him though so will see...

Im not actually involved with the rescue at all I heard of them through a stop puppy farming campaign group and had a look at their site as they take in all the ex breeding dogs, and I saw him there I wanted to adopt him myself my boy dog would probably take a while to come to terms with a new guy and its unfair to put a rescue dog through that. I had a look into all the adoption procedures and as far as Im aware they do rehome anywhere in the uk if its far afield they do all the initial home checks and talk to possible new owners by phone as its not just down the road so not as easy to pop in and do all hat stuff. I think they are always desperate for foster homes too anywhere in the UK Im not sure why there are no fosteres up North to be honest unless not menay people up here know about the rescue. usually ex breeding dogs are better off in a home which already has pets also so they will most probably jump at the chance!

thats very kind too to offer to knit the dogs jumpers whatever the pattern Im sure they will love them especially in these cold months.

its such a shame to see any dogs and cats in shelters Im currently looking into volenteering some time at the local shelters to socialise and spend time with the cats and walk the dogs.

hopefully they will get back to you soon about him.

well I am willing to help in any way I can really, especially for a good cause.
We'll see what comes of it all.

I'll get my knitting needles out, always a rescue in need of jumpers. A friend of a friend works at paws for thought and I've sent about a half dozen jumpers there way so far. Gives me something to do

Im the same just wish there was more I could do to help I always buy extra food for the cat and dog shelter to put in the donation bins at the supermarket. I wish I could knit jumpers but unfortunately my attempt would come out like a mishapen wool alien I bet lol I never was any good with a needle and thread!

keep us all updated if you hear anything back from the shelter.
