Thanks all, she is doing better today.
Harleys Mom, we appreciate you asking around. She is a wonderful little thing, and I think would do best with an adult couple or a single elderly person who is okay with many walks a day. She doesn't pull on the leash at all.
She doesn't bark at anything, seems like. She does nip ankles if you stop petting her and she's not done. She plays with her mouth, it seems, and perfers hands to toys at the moment (no biting, just mouthing). She gets along with Betty and ignores the cats (they can walk right by her without a sniff).
We took her collar off today and she seems a little happier. She started to give tons of kisses and jumped on me for loving. She needs a bath badly, but I want to wait until she's more comfortable. I may go buy that dry bath stuff. Her fur is SO greasy.
Her bum is a bit poopy, and we need to clip that out, I don't think she has been able to clean herself for some years.
Also, we have discovered she is actually a chi/doxie mix! Here are some pics (they are horrible, sorry!):
As for her diet, we are giving her only canned food for now (cheap stuff until the Holiday is over and we can get to our local health store), no kibble for this chunky monkey!
