I got this in my email a little while ago and it is heartbreaking... He needs a loving forever home! If you know of anyone that doesnt have any other pets or only has maybe one smaller, easy going, dog...


This is Nick and this little guy needs our help. My husband's aunt rescued this Chihuahua from a guy that was severely abusing him. He has had boiling water thrown on him two times while he was tied to a tree. After he did this, he hit Nick with a hot pan. The second time he did this to him the burns from the first incident had not even healed yet. We have no idea what other kind of torture this dog has been put through.

He's a full size Chihuahua and is around 3/4 years old. He has all of his shots up to date and we have the records from his vet. He has finished the medication that the vet gave him for the burns. They now just need time to heal. Almost the entire right side of his body is without hair. His left eye is a little damaged as well, but the vet said it is not impairing his vision. He is caramel and white.

We are trying to find a home for him. He lived with cats and he likes other dogs, but I think he would be best in a home where he is the only pet as he needs a lot of attention. He was trained to go potty on puppy pads and we have been working with him to only go to the bathroom outside. He still has accidents in the house from time to time. He only barks when he is playing outside or when there is someone at the door. He is a very sweet dog. Not aggressive at all. He will come with two dog beds. He doesn't have much interest in playing with toys. If you are interested, I can email more pictures of him to you. They are too big for me to load them all on here
