This may have been posted before since she's been missing a couple years; but since the owners have never given up hope I felt I would share this. I encourage anyone to Crosspost on their Facebooks and ask others to Share the link as well; as I believe the key to getting any dog to return home is by making sure the word goes out there to reach as many people as possible.

It also just goes to show how important it is to always make sure dogs are leashed if not in a fenced in area. I know SOOOO many people who let their dogs to out to potty by just opening the door; letting them go a few feet and they run back in almost all the time. But NO dog, no matter HOW well trained can always be 100% predictable... I think everyone needs to remember that they are still animals. I've heard too many stories of how owners trusted their dogs too much and they got spooked and ran off; or saw an animal run by and chased it, or just roamed off in the few seconds the owner has turned their backs. Not to mention how simple it would be for another animal to start chasing THEM and spooking them to run, or people to steal.
So please, even if you decide not to share or crosspost this learn from their mistake. Do not let your dogs roam loose in an insecure area no matter how confident you are in them OR yourself... it may seem harmless but it is not worth the risk. And if you insist on doing it and insist your dog would never run, at least please please never take your eyes off them, so that even if the unimaginable happened you could at least be able to follow them.
I don't think any of us on here could bare the thought to have to make a website like this as it's just heartbreaking... =(
I'll get off my soapbox now. Just found this page and got teary-eyed seeing such a beautiful chocolate baby; needless to say it pulled at my heartstrings.
