I read Homer's Odyssey by Gwen Cooper, a year ago. I can honestly say it is my all time favorite book. I cried, I laughed and then I met Gwen at a book signing this year. Amazing women! Homer's story reminds me so much of my Huly. I have fought for him since day one. Needless to say this book touches my heart in more ways than I could explain. It also helps people realize that special needs animals are just as good as other pets.

Well Gwen has written a new cat fiction "Love Saves the Day" coming out in a few days. I have already pre-ordered my copy.

She is going to have a 15 city book tour and instead of doing book stores etc she will be speaking and reading at No Kill Animal Shelters. She is looking for any blankets and toys that you can send her (She lives in NY, NY) that she can donate to each and every shelter. Every little bit helps.
