How popular is the showing part for people in here?
It looks to me that verry few of you attend dog shows with your chi`s. I cant find any threads with results and pictures.
In Norway this is verry popular, and most forum people do this. The main reason for this is offcourse to get a educated judge to have a look at your dog and judge it by the Norwegian breed standard. It is allso a place where people meet, discuss and learn more about our preciouss breed.

This is a social forum. There are a few who discuss showing; but, primarily Chi Ppl is for fun.

yes it is mainly a pet chi forum there are a few of us who show but unfortunately this section isnt very active

I show there are a few who do on this forum as the others say!!

But this forum doesn't stop you from enjoying and showing pics of your gorgeous chihuahuas!!!!

I show as well.... I breed and think showing is good for breeders. I strive for the best quality possible and breeding for my next show dog gets me there

Is there a section for dog shows??

I would say it's all about the dog showing, but compared to the 4 shows we went to last year, I might have gone a bit nuts. This years counts 18 shows

Last year He had one title, now he has 6 (HCH UCH DKCH DKCH-B DKCH-S INTCH) and I have a FULL trophy cabinet with a box on top for the tropys that wont fit *GGG* The biggest one (and the one I'm most proud of) is the one he got for winning most points during the year of all the male toy dogs making him TOY MALE OF THE YEAR 2009
