Hi all.

Now i dont know if i'm in the right bit for this but as some of you might know I am looking for a nice quality pup. So while i am looking and saving for one i was wondering if anyone thorght it would be a good idea to take billy to ring class classes for the experience. So i could get the idea of what I'm doing. I'm thinking i might like to show chi's but i was thinking what if i spend a small fortune and then find i dont really like it or i cant commit to it enough?

I hope this all makes sense??

I was just wondering if this kind of sounds like the right thing to do.

yeah its a good idea to learn what ur doing before u get a pup to show, and you can always take Billy to some exemption companion shows to see if u like showing

You can infact show Billy, its strange as this came up while talking to a friend of mine.
The Kennel Club do Companion shows, a dog can be pedigree or mixed. Its just a bit of fun and would be great practice.

So I recommend..
Take Billy to ring craft.
Take Billy to companion show.
Then.. buy a show potention pup and you will already have the experience.

yeah thats a great idea! i have a chi that i take to ring craft (layla) but she doesnt enjoy the showing much which is why im looking for a show pup, but it is really good for experience - theres lots of people you can talk to that have showed for years and they have lots of good info to share!

There are lots of chihuahua exhibitors in the Lincolnshire area - I do know they were thinking of setting up a chihuahua/toy dog training class however it don't know if they have found somewhere suitable to hold the classes.

I have had a look around and most in lincolnshire are to far away from where i live although i am in the lincs area. I have enquired at a couple in the cambridge area and are just waiting for them to get back to me.
