There seems to be several people that are interested in getting started showing or are looking for tips for their dogs. I'd be happy to share my thoughts on training and hope other show breeders will as well. Just to get a general idea if I should post all training tips in one thread or make seperate ones for showing or pet puppies. Personally, I think show training benefits all dogs but don't want to overwhelm pet owners if they don't want all the nitty gritty. Please vote for one thread that covers what I'll call basic training with show tips (without having to specify "for show dogs") or one that just covers basic "happy dog" training. Note: I don't claim to be a training expert but after 20 years, I'm happy to share what works for me and what I feel makes for a special dog, whether it's in your lap or in the ring.

I say same thread, you can just type out your information so that it is clear which pieces a pet owner can take out. I don't think it's necessary you make two entire threads for one basic idea I like easy access!

I'm interested.. I'd say do one for everythign then its up to the owner whether or not they want to take it on!!!

I chose happy Dog training only, with show training separate thread. I really look forward to hearing your thoughts.
